Dr. Bercovici is an amazing neurologist. He is a great advocate for his patients and ensures the resources/care they need are arranged in a timely manner. There were times I called him on behalf of my Dad to report an update to his seizures (i.e., falling and hurting himself), and Dr. Bercovici would always directly return my call within a few days.

I have been diagnosed with epilesy since I was 3 yrs. I have gone to multiple neurologists over the years however the improvement that me and my family have seen was not until I saw Dr. Bercovici. Prior to seeing Dr.Bercovici I had a major episode where I had to be taken to the hospital from work.My previous neurologist that I had been seeing was rude and paid no attention to my condition. At that time I came across the website for Dr.Bercovici's clinic and had my family Dr send a referral. During my first appointment, Dr.Bercovici took the time and asking detailed questions to me and my parents. My dad made a video of my episode at the hospital which he reviewed and ordered multiple tests for me to complete. Once he reviewed the results of all the tests, he recommended a medication that would help get my seizures under control. After changing my medication me and my family have seen such amazing improvement in my seizures. My daughter has been seeing Dr. Bercovici for many years to manage her Epilepsy. He is a fantastic neurologist who is kind, patient and thorough. He takes his time to ask and answer questions and concerns and offers different appointment options such as video conference, via phone and in person. The clinic offers comprehensive care, is clean and client focused. The staff is friendly and efficient and great with follow up, prescription renewals and appointment bookings. Questions and concerns are always addressed but it sometimes takes two or more days to get a call back (which is both expected and clearly indicated on their message system). The clinic is centrally located next to the Queensway Trillium Hospital and across the street from Sherway Gardens. My son had an injury when he was a toddler. This resulted in seizures. For 7 years they were gone and then they returned. I brought my son to this clinic when he was an adolescent. I went for a couple visits and then had my son start taking responsibility and arranging to see dr. Bercovici on his own as I wanted him to build rapport and understand that he needed to do this on his own to build independence and confidence. Thankyou Dr. Bercovici! My son has not had any issues with support! It’s very hard for young ones to navigate by themselves but at the same time they need to know how to deal with their situation and have trusting people to turn to when needed. During the EEG there was so much noise in the hallway (talking, making coffee/boiling a kettle, doors slamming) that every time I almost got to sleep I was startled awake. For tests that the goal is for the patient to sleep they should be offered earplugs and blanket to keep them more comfortable and increase the chances of them falling asleep to get more accurate results.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My brother wasnt happy with his current neurologist and got a referral to Mr Bercovici. He was told he would have to wait 8 month to get only ONE second opinion appointment, and he wouldn't be taken on as a patient. He didnt need a second opinion! He wasnt going in for a surgery - he was seeking treatment for a chronic condition. Mr Bercovici's website clearly states that he is accepting new patients, yet denied a person the fundamental right to choose their physician. When he called to inquire why they were refusing to accept him as a patient, he was told that the office will only communicate with his doctor and not with him directly. When he asked to speak to someone who could provide him some answers, he was told that his future appointment with Bercovici was cancelled. Why would anyone want a physician who treats their patients as less than, like some number to callously dismiss, no questions asked? Its despicable, and he and his team should be ashamed of how they treat sick people. Our daughter has been going to Dr. Bercovici for approximately 7 years and he has made a significant impact on the maintenance of her seizures! From day one he was able to give us peace of mind and he knows seizure medication inside and out! His pleasant and calm nature also makes it very easy to talk to him during follow ups.
